Come celebrate SMT’s relocation to our new studio in Takoma Park!
All private lessons, group classes & workshops, and jams will occur at SPARK. And we are already cooking up some new events to host in our large event space, including open mics and a performance series!
We’re thrilled about a few key features of SPARK:
- More lesson rooms for individual and duo lessons
- A large event space
- A waiting and reception area
- Free parking immediately adjacent to the building
- Handicap-accessible entrance to a single-story building
The new address is 7112 Willow Ave, Takoma Park, MD. It’s just a block away from our parter store, House of Musical Traditions.
We will be sharing SPARK with two partners: a luthier associated with the House of Musical Traditions, and Justice Arts Coalition – an organization that sells artwork on behalf of incarcerated artists.

Please bring your family, friends, and neighbors! The event will feature:
- Performances by SMT teachers & students
- Light refreshments
- Meet-n-Greet with the admin team & teachers
- Day-of discounts for selected lessons and classes
- General merriment & good times
