Cambria’s primary instrument is the harp, having earned a Masters degree in Harp Performance from the University of Maryland. She is comfortable with both the pedal and Celtic lever harps and is also skilled in piano and organ. She enjoys exploring new and different ways to use these instruments, ranging from her classical training to folk and jazz styles.
A Rockville native, Mari Carlson has been playing violin since she was only three years old. She plays with folk bands and in classical settings, including the Maple Ridge Bluegrass band, MOB gypsy jazz and folk duo, Girl Love Rock Band, Perdondosi quartet (viola), Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra, and the Chippewa Valley Symphony. She was trained in the Suzuki method and gravitates to that style of teaching as well.
